The Custom Heighway Evan J De Silva Model Tenor is a Tenor ukulele constructed of a rosewood fretboard, with a walnut back and sides, and a cedar top.
Evan received this ukulele in April 2022 as a prize for being awarded the overall winner and best instrumental player of the Annuel Finland Hiutale International Ukulele Contest. It was beautifully handcrafted and custom-made for Evan by the luthier and founder of the brand himself, Shane Heighway, and hence is not currently for sale anywhere.
This is a beautiful ukulele, with a special sound hole located at the side facing the player, allowing for projection towards the player himself for a more immersive experience when playing.
